The Restaurant is closed from October 7th until November 30th.
Welcome in our house and in the wonderful Fuciade dip, which has been an alpine pasture for centuries. During the Sixties an old barn was converted in a refuge and in the Eighties we fell in love with it, trying to make it more and more comfortable along the years.
Either if you’re just passing by or if you want to try the simple but delicious flavours of the Ladin tradition, a break in our chalet will make even more special your stay in Val di Fassa! Surrounded by the Costabella Group, with a breath-taking view of the Pale di San Martino and the Col Margherita, Fuciade is the perfect place for all kinds of hikes.
If you want to stay with us, you’ll appreciate the coziness of our rooms. An excellent dinner by chef Martino and the magic silence of our mountains will offer you an unbelievably restorative sleep. Breakfast, with a rich buffet of local products and home-made sweets by our patisserie, will give you the energy to discover our marvelous mountains.
Reaching us is easy: if you stay overnight, we’ll give you a special permit to arrive here by car in summer, while in winter we’ll come and pick you up with our snowcats and snowmobiles.
We’re waiting for you, for a memorable holiday in Val di Fassa!

The path that leads to Fuciade from Passo San Pellegrino is well traced, very easy and nearly flat, so you can come also with a stroller. It’s feasible also in winter, with proper equipment. The hike in the wood gives plenty of emotions and it works up a good appetite, which we’re always ready to satisfy!
The refuge is located at the foot of the Costabella Group, theatre of World War I and spectacular access point to Canazei. While sitting comfortably on our benches, you’ll admire the Pale di San Martino in all their magnificent colors, the Col Margherita and, with a short walk amidst the grazing lands, the Mount Civetta. During summer, you can taste Ladin typical food, observe farmers practicing old trades like grass cutting and haymaking, and get near to grazing cows and horses.
